Zentis Approved for Tax Abatement

Zentis North America, LLC was granted a ten year tax abatement for a $6.5 million capital investment. The Plymouth City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Feb. 24 approved their request for a personal and real property abatement.

Zentis is currently installing a new product line to expand their offerings. Zentis has traditionally been a fruit processor for the dairy industry.

Officials with Zentis are excited about the expansion into a slightly different product line. This expansion is expected to add an additional 22 employees to the current 225 employed.
Zentis North America, LLC is part of a German fruit processor that has an additional plant near Philadelphia, Penn. Zentis opened the plant in Plymouth 14 years ago.
